It\u2019s a huge hit that made over $100 million at the box office. It\u2019s already been named the best movie of the year by several publications and awards organizations.<\/p>\n<p>The movie stars the legendary actress <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Michelle_Yeoh\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Michelle Yeoh<\/a>, and was directed by <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Daniels_(directors)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Daniels<\/a>, the directing duo of Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert. The score for the film is by the band <a href=\"https:\/\/sonluxmusic.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Son Lux<\/a>. In addition to the score, Son Lux also made the original song for the film\u2019s end credits: &#8220;This is a Life,&#8221; featuring two prestigious guest vocalists: <a href=\"https:\/\/mitski.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mitski<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/David_Byrne\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">David Byrne<\/a> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Talking_Heads\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Talking Heads<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For this episode, I spoke to Ryan Lott from Son Lux, as well as the Daniels.
